Soul Compiler released under BSL 1.1: deep personality for AI agents

Soul Compiler, our personality compilation system for AI agents, is now publicly available under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1).

Instead of writing shallow system prompts like "You are a helpful assistant," Soul Compiler compiles deep, multi-layered personality documents from rich source materials — the same way a novelist builds a character from research rather than adjectives.

Highlights

• A 6-stage pipeline — collect, distill, trait card, configure, analyze, compile — turns 2,000–3,000 lines of reference material into 500–800 line personality files.
• Tri-color conflict detection makes personality engineering auditable before deployment.
• 10 trait dimensions on a 0.0–1.0 scale, each with real behavioral impact.
• In production today across 6 active agents, 28 cron jobs, and 3 channels (Telegram, Discord, Web).

Output ownership

Compiled TRUE_SOUL.md files belong to the user — there are no license restrictions on output.
